Pilates Classes - Book here

Reformer Pilates is a fun and challenging form of exercise. The reformer offers all the benefits of Pilates, including increasing strength, flexibility, co-ordination and balance. It is low impact and modifiable, making it the perfect workout for everyone. It can also be used as a rehabilitation tool, as Joseph Pilates initially designed it for during World War I.

The reformer is an extremely versatile piece of equipment. It might look scary, but once you give it ago you will realise just how fun it is. The reformer is shaped like a bed – it moves within a frame and is loaded with springs. These springs are used to change the difficulty of each exercise by both challenging and assisting you through all of the movements in a class. Not only are there springs, there are also straps for your hands and feet, a box to sit or lay on, as well as a jump board to add an extra challenge. There are thousands of reformer exercises, so have no fear that any class you attend will be the same as the last.
